Today is the official opening of the latest project from 3XN, the new fantastic City Hall of Nieuwegein in The Netherlands.
I was down there two weeks ago, and I'm looking forward to return in early May for another session, hopefully in full spring and happy people around the project. See the project here: 3XN — Stadshuis Nieuwegein
If you mix the worlds best restaurant, NOMA, with GXN, the Innovation Unit of 3XN, add 249 full sheets of Nordic veneer, with 11.472 meters of cnc milling, resulting in 5.283 individual parts and on the top a lot of work and dedication, you end up with the new Noma Foodlab!

Scandinavia's largest hotel, Bella Sky, by 3XN, had the Grand opening a few days ago. Finally it's spring! But I want to share one of the projects I have photographed this winter: City of Westminster College, in London, by Schmidt/Hammer/Lassen Architects. Autumn last year was really busy! so new projects will be added to "selected works" in the next weeks - so stay tuned. After a week in Stockholm, photographing for kjellander+sjoberg, I went straight to berlin for the opening of The 3xn exhibition "mind your behaviour" in the beautiful gallery Aedes. 3xn was my first client when I started photographing architecture, instead of drawing it. so it's a proud day, when a lot of my work, in lager format, are on the walls, when 3xn are opening the big solo exhibition "Mind Your Behaviour" at the Danish Architecture Centre in Copenhagen.
